This is the iconic ES 335 with block inlays with trapeze tailpiece.
The colour as aged it is cherry but looks chocolate to dark wood, with the Norlin “beer” label.
This guitar is one owner who changed the pickups in 1977 to the rare “Tarback” system, although perfect for a musician a collector may have issues as not 100% original.
These pickup are known for their fat sound. Also referred to as “super humbuckers”. Designed by Bill Lawrence with special ceramic magnets. Great condition. These sound nice, full and warm. The individual specs are as follows:
Main measures 5.33k ohms and the lead is 12.5” long
The tap measures 2.67k ohms and the lead is approximately 7.5”
Main measures 7.79k ohms and the lead is 11.5” long
The tap measures 3.87k ohms and the lead is 7” long
